Hi there,
Good for you to start this forum for current and ex-andersonians. I was a student from 1985 to 1991. Dato' Lat and Tan Sri Ahmad Sarji to name a few. There is a book publish by our school on this topic. Maybe you should get in touch with the school on where to get this book. How about ASOBA, have you tried them? |

 this guy name is CHef Kamarul Hasni bin Che rose....he is now is a lecturer at UiTM penang and he is my lecturer for the past 3 years...hmmm....he is an ex-anderson that is famous as he is a celebrity chef nowadays... -------------------- talK to the FOoD!!

Hi all,
I'm a newbie here but not to the school. I was there from 1987 until I completed my SPM and subsequently left in 1992 to pursue my tertiary education. Anderson for u youngsters who wants to know is a premier school in producing not only leaders as well as sportsman. Nothing is more glorious in Anderson if not the hockey team. We have produced numbers of state and national players. I consider myself lucky as I learned the trade in Anderson and made it to the National Juniors team in 1994. If to name all might take me days but let me just mention a few notable hockey player who have represented the country. Let start with Tan Sri Kamalul Ariffin, a former national goalkeeper, we also have M.A Sambu, former national player, Perry Khoo Eu Hock, M Kaliswaren, Tajul Rosli, Mohd Jaafar Vello and many more which I have forgotten. In the producing leaders we have fallen short, let me name a few Datuk Sri Azmi Khalid - minister, Leftenan Jeneral (  Dato' Seri Mohd Yunus Tasi - Former Air Force Chief, Toh Muda Dr Abdullah Fadhil Che Wan - former Dep. Minister, Tan Sri Ahmad Sarji, Chairman of PNB and former Sec. General to the Government, Dato' Shahrom Yeop, Dato' Megat Joned, Datuk Azim Zabidi - Chairman BSN, Dato' Sri Tajol Rosli - Perak MB, Dato Nazri Tan Sri Aziz - Dep Minister and many more.As you can see my fellow Andersonian the rich tradition of our school have deliver many goodies to the country something we must be very proud of. I am definitely proud of it and to make it sweeter I was a member of the glorious 1992 National Champion School Hockey team. I think all the member deserve to be mentioned here as we started something that went on to be something more than an eye opener for the rest of the country about the capability of the school from Ipoh. Remember, we won it 9 more times after that, ok here goes the player of 1992 National Champion School Team : Sazali 'Hilton' Abdul Rahman, M. Kaliswaren, Elmokri Razman, Yusri 'Yuya' Yahya, Patvinder 'Pat' Singh, Gurmit Singh, Vinthiarajah, Sentilrajah, Param Singh, Shahrul Nizam Barkes, Azrul 'Awe', Vishnu Iaduray, Saravanan, Joe and maybe a few more that I've forgotten. Not forgetting the coach and manager Mr Pritam Singh and En Samzuri So guys keep it running and remember our tradition and spirit will live on |

I dont know if he was a sucessful old boys. but now,he has 5 shops in 3 different places. he is a sucessful old boy to me. His name is Lee Thiam Choy. I bet that no one will know who he is. he studied in anderson from 1963-1967.
